Teeling Crystal Malt

A limited edition single malt from Teeling in Dublin. This was made using both distillers malt and crystal malt which were fermented with two types of yeast then triple distilled on the copper pot stills at Teelings in Dublin. Maturation is entirely done in Virgin American oak casks.

Crystal malt isn't used much for whiskey because it does not have as much readily fermentable extract as standard malt but it has a delicious flavour that can add touches of caramel and dark toffee.

This limited edition bottling was restricted to just 18,000 releases.
