A blend of malt and grain ranging from four to 10 years maturing in American oak casks. John Lawrence Sullivan was an Irish-American heavyweight â€“ the last bare-knuckle world champion and the first gloved boxing champion, the man who wielded 'the hands that shook the world'. John was the son of Michael Sullivan from Abbeydorney. He was a huge celebrity in his day, becoming world champion in 1888 when he defeated Charley Mitchell in France.
