Distilled in 1999, this exceptional 26 Year Old Irish Single Malt Whiskey represents more than a quarter of a century of patient maturation and expert cask management. Double distilled and initially matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, the whiskey spent nearly two decades developing remarkable depth and elegance, building layers of vanilla, honeyed malt, tropical fruits, and refined oak character.

To further enhance its complexity, the spirit was transferred to a specially crafted 128-litre ex-Oloroso sherry cask. Uniquely constructed from the broken staves of a seasoned ex-solera Oloroso sherry butt, this rare cask provided an extraordinary opportunity for the whiskey to interact with oak deeply enriched by years of traditional sherry maturation.

The smaller cask size increased the spirit-to-wood contact, accelerating flavour development and intensifying the influence of the seasoned oak. The result is a rich and beautifully balanced single cask Irish whiskey, where the vibrant fruit character and creamy sweetness gained from long bourbon cask maturation intertwine seamlessly with the nutty, spicy, and dried fruit notes of Oloroso sherry.

Layers of toasted nuts, dried figs, dark fruits, baking spice, and polished oak complement the whiskey's mature tropical fruit character, creating a complex and rewarding tasting experience.
