Celtic Cask Seasca a Trí (63) 18 Year Old Sauternes Cask

Distilled in 2007, this exceptional 18 Year Old Irish Single Malt has undergone a remarkable maturation journey spanning nearly two decades. Initially matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, the whiskey developed a rich foundation of vanilla, honey, and orchard fruits before being transferred to ex-Fino sherry butts in 2015, where it gained layers of dried fruit, roasted nuts, and refined complexity.

In 2021, one of these carefully selected sherry butts was divided between two rare wine casks. One portion became Celtic Cask 59, matured in an ex-Tokaji cask, while the other was filled into an outstanding ex-Sauternes cask sourced directly from Château Suduiraut, one of Bordeaux's most renowned dessert wine producers.

The influence of the prestigious Sauternes cask has added remarkable depth and elegance, enhancing the whiskey's natural fruit character with notes of apricot, peach, honeycomb, candied citrus peel, golden raisins, and delicate oak spice. The result is a rich and luxurious Irish whiskey that perfectly balances maturity, sweetness, and complexity.
