Celtic Cask Ceathair Deag

The Celtic Whsikey Shop in Dublin filled an Alestino estate wine cask with an unpeated single malt that had spent 11 years in a bourbon cask. Three years of further maturation has given this malt a beautiful chocolate bronze colour. The whiskey has picked up lots of the rich raisin and coffee flavours from the Brunello di Montalcino Italian red wine, which lingers long into the finish.
