Celtic Cask 50 Caoga 2014 Dingle Virgin PX

The first Celtic Cask release from Dingle Distillery. A triple distilled malt that was initially matured in French virgin oak (Berthomieu Nevers Light toast). It was moved to Pedro Ximenez cask in December 2021. Expect notes of dry spice, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg on the nose with oak, roasted, nuts, orange zest and kumquats on the palate and a peppery finish with toaches of citrus peel. Bottled at a robust 58.1%. Natural colour and non-chill filtered. A truly exceptional whiskey.

Celtic Cask 49 is a double-distilled, unpeated single malt from Cooley Distillery. Maturation was started in 2001 in an ex-Bourbon barrel and 2018 it was transferred into a 125 litre Oloroso Sherry cask where it remained before being bottled in 2023. We think this offers incredible value for money for a 22 year old and we hope our customers like it as much as we do!Like all our Celtic Casks this is very limited and just 226 bottles have been released. We think it offers unbeatable value for a 20 year old whiskey and hope it will be opened and appreciated by all. ..
