In 2019, Teeling won the World’s Best Single Malt at the World Whiskey Awards with Teeling 24 Year-Old Vintage Reserve Single Malt. The 28 year-old was from the same batch as the 24 year-old but has had a further 4 years maturation in the Sauternes casks. To complete the Trilogy, Teeling released a Teeling 30 Year-Old Vintage Reserve in the autumn. This fantastic single malt has received another 2 years ageing in the sweet wine casks. This tasting starts with the world’s best single malt and then you follow that journey to see how it evolves with an extra 4 then 6 years extra maturation.
